do you think this is the route i should be going? Should i get all futuristic and go with a heat pump? I don't know much about them, or costs for them so more research is required. I just want to be as efficient, and cost effiecient as possible. With the current oil crisis, my oil furnace is just out of the question.

i run a pellet stove too, but last year i put a neww boiler in and it was cheaper to run that than the pellets. don't get me wrong i love my stove but pellets are getting pricey. i can guaranty atleast 30% fuel savings if not 50% with an upgrad to your currant boiler. take a look at these biasi b10"s. qhtinc.com.

yea thats what i was looking at. i found a nice harman posted in the link above. i checked around and i can get it local, but the company that sells them says they don't install them yet because they just started to carry them. they said that i would need a contractor.
if you're in my area i'd gladly see what you could quote me.
