    This is a "new" house, built in '06, but no one has brought it. A friend of mine is making an offer on this house. Guess he will have a dark window in the family room in the basement when the deck does get built.

    That's Nothing, I have a good 4 foot drop from a back room french door, I just brought the house 6 months ago, but the house was built in 1991 and the former owner never installed a deck. God knows how he got a CO with such a volilation, but than again the insurance Company didn't catch it either, but them made me install a hand railing on the front porch steps.
