i use 45% with the correct brazing flux.
What is the silver solder that is used to solder SS tubing to copper tubing, isnt there a percentage of silver in that particular solder that has the best adhesion qualities, like 50% percent silver solder. What do you guys recommend?

Yup same here,
45% with Brazinf Flux...don't forget to put a put a "Flux Capacitor" after you're done!

paste the joint and use blue rod or some 45
If you didn't do it right the first time it probably makes sense that your here asking the right way to do it now

I use the Harris 45% the blue rods, no flux needed
Visited the Harris web site http://www.harrisproductsgroup.com/c...les/fluxes.asp they list a black flux for stainless steel.

i don't think the white floride flux (Stay-Silv Brazing Flux) is to be used for food service and hospital equip.

I've used staybrite8, liquid flux and a soldering iron too with good results if your just tacking something on.
