    soldering stainless steel components to copper, what solder?

    What is the silver solder that is used to solder SS tubing to copper tubing, isnt there a percentage of silver in that particular solder that has the best adhesion qualities, like 50% percent silver solder. What do you guys recommend?

    i use 45% with the correct brazing flux.

    Yup same here,

    45% with Brazinf Flux...don't forget to put a put a "Flux Capacitor" after you're done!

    good timing for this question...

    i have to make a stainless pan tommorow and braze a copper drain line into it......

    paste the joint and use blue rod or some 45
    If you didn't do it right the first time it probably makes sense that your here asking the right way to do it now
