line freezing up
the main line going from my outside unit to the unit under my house is freezing up! I have changed the filter and just put a fan under the house to help evaporate the standing water. Can someone please help? Why is the line freezing up? What else can I do?

Call a service tech before it damages your compressor and cost you a fortune for a new compressor.
You changed your filter, that about all the more you can do.
I'm guessing its been a few years since you had a clean and tune done to it.

The service pro will adjust the refrigerant level to the proper level, if necessary. If that is all he finds, make sure to ask him why it is low and get that addressed.
