    13 years at same place but we work on all equitment boilers ,a/c, kitchen equipment ect...anything college owns or any job that needs done..

    well in that long you've done side jobs I'd guess plenty.

    Side jobbers steal jobs from legitimate contractors. Make your mind up, work for the University, grin and bear it or open your own business. I run into hacked up jobs from side jobbers all the time, or just simple callbacks which they never seem to go back once they have their money.

    Side jobbers are bad for our industry. Side jobbers are bad for the customer. Side jobbers deserve whatever crap hits them in the face because most are uninsured, unlicensed hacks looking for quick cash.

    If you need extra cash, work at McDonalds.
