    Bryant

Does any one know about Bryant AC I never see them or really hear of them.
Need new AC and was proposed Bryant was told it is Carrier not that I am sold on Carrier.
I have never had any luck with AC's this is worse than buying a car, I do know I have no interest in Trane been there done that was a very expensive XL19 nightmare.
Any help anyone can shed some light on this, also is anyone can refer me to an AC contractor in West Palm area I am looking for someone who is honest and really knows what they are doing.

I might, if I didn't deal another brand.

    Nothing wrong with Bryant.
It just cost less then a Carrier. It comes from the same factory.

Gosh... If only you knew who make them....

This is a good question.... Who actually makes Bryant units? Does anyone still make their own units? A better question would be: What name do you like better? Or what paint colors do you like better?

    Red face

Ok I guess I just not worry so much with "brand" as much as installer.
That is like playing Russen Roulette picking an AC guy it is a shame but they sure do talk a good game but when it comes down to brass tacks it's a whole different story.
Any suggestions? I can not even find anyone that I know or that lives around here that will say hey I used so and so and they were great here is their number. I have looked at the BBB and have a two that I would call but how do I know if they are full of BS before spending 12 to 15 grand? Any suggestions I am a female and that really seems to make matters worse I guess were not supposed know about AC units.

Have them give you their estimates, and explain why tehy want to do what.
    Then post their plans(not prices)
    And ask questions.
