When you go to a friend or family members new home, and you are looking for that basement door. If you don't get the tour of the basement, you sneak your way down to check out the furnace, then sneak out the back yard to the A/C/

    *

this has been a very entertaining thread!

it's good to know other techs as well as myself (and you too Ryan) notice every little

detail about any hvac system your eyes come in contact with!

what a great trade to be in!

the examples that have been given are so true

its funny how basically we all have the same sort of lifestyle

When you're not even an HVAC pro and you spend more time on this darn site than all other sites combined.

If you don't know, then don't do. If you don't know and still do, then be prepared to pay someone else a lot to undo what you did and then do it right.

If you do know, then do. But do it right. Otherwise, you may not be doing it long.

When you drive an hour and a half to pick up an old broken cooler just so you can fix it and make it a beer cooler....

I did this 2 weeks ago. As of last night, cooler holds temp at a cool 34*. Now I just need to get the hardware to run the taps.
