    I'm betting theres at least 18 rednecks on the way to walmart or piggly wiggly!!!!!

    Not quite so ridculous as you might think.

    A friend of mine built a 12v version for his small plane. It takes about 20 pounds of ice for 30 minutes, but by then they are at altitude and don't need it again until the next takeoff.

    He uses a larger ice chesk, a heater coil, 12 blower moter and 12 volt water pump.
