    Dual Fuel Warranty?

    Have an estimate on Infinity dual fuel setup.

    Dealer will give 10yr parts - labor warranty on heat pump ONLY. Says they do NOT service oil furnace so can't do extended warranty on furnace even though they will sell the furnace. They have an oil company that will do the install and one year warranty.

    Is this standard ? I'm a little concerned as I've heard the VS blower is expensive if it goes down.

    Thats a problem.

    Since the heat pump uses the furnaces blower. You don't get teh full 10 year warranty on 1/2 of your heat pump.

    I'd look for another contractor.
