    Question About Orifice Drill Bits

Hello. I've always used orifice drill bit sets. The one that come in the blue hard cases and are numbered not fractional. I am looking for a new set and notice they are pretty pricey. I was looking for a regular drill bit set online and came across a set that has fractional, lettered, and numbered drill bits. The numbered drill bits are 1-60 and I guess correspond to wire gauge.

What I want to know is if this is the same measuring system used to measure gas orifice sizes.
Training is a forever thing in a good technician’s life.

I keep doing this right but I'm still convinced I don't know sh*t

If I'm not mistaken they are one in the same. I'm sure someone will come along to correct me if I'm wrong.

Can't you just ask them at Harbor Freight?
