Thumbs up HVAC spot open, RTP,NC

I have an open spot for an HVAC maintenance position in RTP.

The bad... You must be comfortable with commercial HVAC and some chiller experience. The good.. It's a steady 8-5 job maintaining 12 buildings with a team of 15 technicians. Steady hours year round is not an issue. It's a large company (CB Richard Ellis) which mean good benefits, vacation (yes even in the summer), and holidays. You will maintain,do repairs, and manage contractors who work on your buildings.

If you want to make the switch from running service at all hours of the day to a structured day to day job then this is your chance.

To apply it must be online through here-

To contact me for more info-

I am also looking for 2 electricians if you guys know any who wants to apply.

Wow, 154 reads and not a single reply. No one in the Raleigh/Durham area wants to switch from running service to maintaining buildings? Is there Raleigh/Durham techs on this site?

I was thinking the same thing.

Does the "steady" aspect of a position make up for the lack of OT earning potential? Not in my book. If I was going to act as a building engineer for CBRE (a company with which I am familiar) I would expect to be paid as a building engineer, and not as a C mechanic.

Maybe that's why there were no apps.

I don't understand why people who post jobs on here never include pay.

    Like it's not important.

Well pay is always based on experiance. It's not a cut and dry thing. This position ranges from $18-23 an hour. My tech's average 40-55 hours a week.

If you were closer to the Rocky Mount way I would be willing to talk to you.

No I am no longer with IBS. I moved into operations management. I am now managing the operations of a site in RTP.

I thought IBS was looking for people on the east coast area. I think they have a nicer job search website now.

I messed up my own email in the first post.

there are plenty jobs here, but the cost of living is the same or higher in most cases than your area and the wages are lower 9 times out of 10!
