Humidistat Setting For Summer?
Hi all, I am curious to get some opinions on what my digital humidfier control should be set at for the summer months. Currently it is at the normal setting and is showing 49% I have an Aprilaire humidifier model 600a, that has a setting for winter/summer (set to summer now). This is obviosly controlled by my digital controller.
Is 49% too much? If not what would be a good setting for this?

Summer, and or off.
Unless you linve in an area that only has like 10%RH in the summer.
Also, close teh bypass damper.

Tur it off and close the damper, put in a new mess filter and your good to go for the up coming heatinf season and all you will have to do is open the damper if you have one and open the water valve if you closed it.
