    Confused Propane or no?

    My wife and I are getting a house. It is an older house and it has gas heat with a forced air furnace. I live in sw ohio so our weather is rather screwy. Does anyone have any recomendations in regards to keep the gas furnace or replace it. I am trying to figure out which is cheaper. Propane or electric

    Well down here in ga heat pumps are the way to go, but if ya'll have pretty bad winters I would stay with propane or get a dual fuel system.We do put alot of dual fuels in and if they are installed as intended that would probaly work the best for you.If you do go with dual fuel make SURE the contractor you pick has done these in the past.
