If you had low freon in a carrier infinity would you get a failure code on the infinity thermostat?

The only error codes for the outdoor units on operation other than electrical or communication:

Code 76 Low stage did not start three times
Code 78 High stage did not start three times
Code 81 Thermal lockout in low stage - 4hrs.
Code 82 Thermal lockout in high stage - 4hrs.
    Code 83 Low pressure lockout - 4hrs.
    Code 84 High pressure lockout - 4hrs.

If you had low freon would it cause any of those codes? With how advanced the infinity seems to me I thought it might casue a failure code that might mean low on freon.

Low pressure lockout would occur if the charge was too low. The installer or service company would need to check the charge using proper methods to verify. The installer can also review the past fault codes as they are stored in the thermostat. If lockout happens the unit would not run. Being a little low would not cause the unit to lockout.

depending on the set up your controller will log a possible frozen coil but it should also have other codes stored(for your contractor.) it will let you know if there is a problem on your controller it will say system or critical malfunction and call your service co. if youve had that pop up then call them something needs to be checked out. if the units not cooling adequately then call your service co.
