    Are we allowed to ask

for a recommend HVAC contractor in my area? (Raleigh, NC)
I know pricing and DIY is off limits but I need to retire my leaking Frankenstein soon and get a new upstairs unit.

I'm not in a huge hurry as I can add little Genetron every few weeks but I need to put this monster to rest.

I've read enough threads to realize it's unwize to ask which brands are best.

Try to find a discussion group local to Raleigh, like usenet, craigslist, etc.

Sure, have at it! But hey............No more talk about adding refrigerant yourself! That's DIY!

Fair enough, I didn't say how (and I won't) but and I am licensed

Anyone on the board that works in the Raleigh area or knows of a good contractor let me know.
