A regular window shaker hacked into the wall just below the casement window. It is set back a 2x4's width into the wall and covered with window screening. The vinyl siding is flying off.

As far as I can remember, about 6 years, there has never been stairs, a patio or deck on the 2nd floor of that building.

When do they plan to finish the sideing job? I would have staretd at the bottom and worked my way up the full length of the building those splices around that window are going to look like crap

I think that was once a door... note the lintel above. The nearby window has only a brick arch.

Something that drives me nuts is an old multi-story brick building with beautiful window arches. The owner covers them with plywood and throws in a cheap replacement window.
