    Angry Where are the valves?

I am trying to fix 10 years old goldstar dehumidifier. Ok, cover states correct charge R22 4.47 oz, charge liq - good. Soo how can you possibly check it, charge it or even evac it has no service valves? Do they expect one punch hole in the tube?

Or is it one time use => ready for the trash?

Guess you haven't heard of a saddle tap.
Perhaps you should have read the instructions before calling.

Typically (like window shakers) you would braze on a saddle tap with a self piercing schraeder valve core. May not be worth the effort, I would buy a new one.

That is a small appliance. And is not required to have a service access.
You should have learned that when you took your EPA for small appliance.

Chuck it and buy a new one.

    Cool.

I learned something. I also found supco FTV* valves. I think I'll follow baldloonies advice (2).
