Switching from R409....
Hi,
I have a medium temperature system using R409. Can I switch from R409 to others refrigerants such as R134, R22... R410 . Do I have to change the oil?
thanks for your help.

You need to be a LOT more specific. R409 was/is a replacement for R12. Did the unit originally use R12 or was it always R409? The old oil could be just about anything. Some of the refrigerants you've listed requires special oils.
But bigger questions is the range of refrigerants you've listed makes me think you are building a franken-unit and may not know it. Those refrigerants are not replacements for R409 or each other. If "I have always done it this way" is a good reason to do it again, how many times do I have to do something wrong - before it becomes right?
