No idea why you have trouble.
Don't know what you mean not as accurate either.
How is it when i go on S.C. i allways have problems reading S.H. and Sub-cooling with a flowrator system , and its not as accurate a TXV.
Some one give some ideas about this , and how to go about it !

You gottta re word that a little differently. It's not clear what you mean.
a TXV - use sc to maintain a collum of liquid at valve and constant evap sh, caps and flow devices - use sh which is dependant on condenser pressure for flow, greater cond pressure greater mass flow. Question a little unclear hope this helps

A fixed metering device system will sometimes hunt when its low on charge.
It also appears to hunt sometimes after the coil has been frozen. Due to oil having been washed out of the compressor, and now moving through the evap.
Have you applied for pro membership yet.
These are question that are more technical in nature then we should be going into in the open forums..
They may close or delete it soon.
Not so sure hunting is a word that I would use in conjunction with a fixed bore metering device.
Won't say its 100% correct terminology, but close enough for me.
I failed Terminology 101.
C'mon man! How's that being fair to the OP?
Because that is what very well may be happening.
And I'm not allowed to explain it much better in this forum.
Fixed metering device / flowrater / "not an expansion Valve "
Since i brought this into a open Residential Forum , its need to be addresed in a more "techical view" .
