I have a VisionPro IAQ with humidity control but I don't have a separate de-humidifier. I've enabled the humidity control on the furnace and wired it appropriately to use the A/C to dehumidify. The furnace has four different cooling profiles that basically run the motor at 82% speed for 7 1/2 minutes and then go to full speed. A pseudo humidity control also I'm guessing.
My question is if the thermostat is controlling the humidity should I just disable all of the furnace special profiles and just let it run 100%? Let the thermostat activate the controller humidity controls and slow down the motor when required.
My concern is when there is a humidity call which slows the motor and also at the early parts of the ramping profile the motor is also slowed do they both add up effectively making the motor run too slow? Is the controller smart enough to know that the motor is possibly being slowed too much?

In your climate, I suggest operating in low fan speed all the time. Your home will not get too dry during the three humid seasons. In fact if the correct amount of fresh air is getting into your home, you is not able to remove enough moisture to maintain <50%RH during cool wet weather. Having the a/c remove a little extra will help this problem. Supplemental dehumdification is needed during the lengthy cool wet weather like this year. Regards TB

Provide 60-100 cfm of fresh air when occupied to purge indoor pollutants and keep window dry during cold weather. T-stat setup/setback +8 hrs. saves energy
Use +Merv 10 air filter. -Don't forget the "Golden Rule"
