changeover to heat pump question?

Hi:
I am looking for advice, I have a customer with a condenser that has vibrated a leak in itself, I priced out a unit at my local supplier, and they only have air/air heat pumps in stock, I have no experience with heat pumps, they have a Carrier 3t air handler in the attic, is this a typical set/sweat/ wire/vaccume/charge swap over or is there more to it? will the two position T-stat work? , or do I need to change the evap also

any help is appreciated

You need to find out if the current ID coil is a match to the new heat pump.

There is a fair amount of work to convert depending on the current heat configuration.
