Be careful with used units...

I would not recommend buying a used unit from a homeowner, as you will have no body to stand behind any breakdowns, or to verify it worked on removal, we occasionally have a used unit to sell if someone adds on and has to upsize, or switched to Heat Pump. But we know it works, and can give some sort of guarantee. HO can't do that for you.
You can't fix stupid

The warranty is probably non'transferable since it has been relocated from another residense. Hopefully whoever removed it pumped it down and closed the service valves. If the tubeing is hacksawed off and/or the valves are still open, I'd bail on it. I sell used units once in a while, but at least I'll pump it down and close the valves for some protection.
