Evaporator condensation
My evaporator is condensing water at the top, but is not running down. It drops down instead of draining to the condensate drain. What might be the problem, because the unit is cooling great.

Are you sure it's still doing that when all the covers are on and you can't see the evaporator?
Is condensate leaking outside of the unit?

The unit is dripping down in the floor. I first noticed the wet carpet is why I took the cover off to look.

Has the filter been changed recently? Has the evaporator coil and indoor blower wheel ever been cleaned? Any supply vents in the house closed? They should all be open, all the time. Does the evaporator drain pan appear to be draining?

The filter is new. The evaportor has been cleaned, but the fan blades have not. The drain is draining fine. I think there is one vent that is closed.
