    I have been in this business 16 years. I have not seen one used in 15 years by other techs. I use one on low temp applications Its the only time I can get away with it. There are some companies I have worked for in the past that would fire you for using a vacuum pump. They said you where wasting time. Stayed with those companies only long enough to find another job. They also required you to run 8 calls a day minimum. They wanted at least 10.

    Well after this poll all the guys who put systems in that are 20 to 30 years old will have to go back and reevacuate them and use a micron gauge to do it right.
