When the acid neutralizers [Acid Away] first showed up at the supply houses [including Totalline] we tried to find out who had tested them. We checked with Copeland, Trane, Carlyle and found that none had tested/recommended it. We finally found that Bristol had tested it and it was not satisfactory. We then contacted Totalline to find out who authorized them to sell it there and they found out it was a mistake. They removed them here in Florida.

Like I suggested, oil testing and oil replacement is the best system we have found to get longevity out of replacement compressors, never suction desiccant dryers.
