Totally agree. What scares the crap out of me that Edwards could end up a heartbeat away from the presidency. Apparently he's on the short list.

Whomever McCain picks as his running mate is much closer to the presidency than Obama's running mate. McCain had "only" 150 pages per year put into his medical file. His campaign may say he's healthy, but any 70 year old thats at the doctor that much is not healthy. I hope he lives until he's 85, but the reality is that his chances of being elected and making it through a 4 year term isn't good.

He claims he is not a Muslim and so he must be assumed to not be a Muslim. More importantly though is how Obama feels about Islam. Obama's father and step father are both Muslim and Obama was subjected to Muslim society early in his life during the developing years. Obama is listed officially as a Muslim on several documents from his youth, so Obama "was" a Muslim as a child.

My concerns are how much of Obama's childhood teachings have affected Obama's belief system overall. After all, Obama may have converted to Christianity as an adult, but the specific style of Christianity he has always been active in is led by people who publicly speak out against the United States and White people and publicly commend and otherwise praise the writings, speeches and other teachings of Muslim and anti-White radicals.

So; is Obama Muslim? No. Can we trust where Obama's loyalties lie? No.

I don't understand. Are you suggesting that we have no right to a need to feel that a person we elect as our president not make us comfortable that he or she is loyal to all of us as a nation? Are you suggesting that any of us could be sympathetic to the Islamic cause? Are you suggesting that Obama does not have extenuating circumstances about his life and his choices in who he has associated with "reverently" in life that should raise concerns about just who Obama favors?
