ClimateMaster tranquility 27 noise?
How much noise should I expect out of a tranquility 27 unit if it is installed in the attic? On another forum someone made a comment about not being happy with a geo system because they are noisy. I've just about decided that the ClimateMaster is what I wanted so I though I'd see what the pro's have to say about noise.
Thanks in advance,
Stan.

Unfortunately all of the Tranquilities I have installed have been in basements, not attics. If installed on noise damping pads, with vibration isolation on the ducts, and the shipping brackets on the compressor removed (some installers forget them), they are no noisier than a conventional air handler. In other words quiet. If proper steps are used in the attic, it should be no noisier than an equivalent air handler.
