    Vacuum pump operation

    Hi all,
    I am looking for information on how a vacuum pump works. Specifically, the rotary vane, oil filled type such as Robinair or YJ. Does anyone know of a link describing the operation principles or design? I want to know how the pump works, not how to use it.

    I checked robinair.com, but the just had high level marketing type descriptions.
