    Fresh air Intake Dampers

    Can you use any type of motorized damper for a fresh air intake that will work the same as Aprilaire's, or does the Aprilaire 8126 have something special built into there dampers that other motorized dampers do not have?

    That one has its own control system. A standard damper won't have that.
    A sandard damper will only open or close, it won't check himidity levels.
