Good to know. So many homeowners can't separate the dealer from the manufacturer.
Best of luck with this.Merry Christmas

Me being a ho would think that when the manufacturer see's these type of installation more and more you would think that the manufacturer would start pulling the contractors rights to sell there brand or atleast the top of the line equipment for starters and then pull there right to sell after one to many complaints like this one comes into there office. When a installing company does a job like this and on the front end of the sale sells the equipment as one of the best there is, but come to find out the installation isn't worth much after a installation like this that reflects back on Carrier and or other brand manufacturers and eventually they have to start doing somthing to protect there image, JMO !!!

They do. They spend more money on advertising telling how good their product is.
If a company puts in 500 plus a year, they ain't gonna have their dealer rights pulled from them.

I have opened the blower and heard it slow down, saw it slow down, saw it draw less amperage, because it does not have to run as fast to deliver the required CFM. This is how a variable speed motor operates.
You are thinking of a standard motor, open the door, the motor slows down because it is overloaded, and the amperage goes up.
The obvious thing is he has severe duct issues ranging from sizing to poor installation.
Good luck on getting this resolved.

Manufactors don't care about dealers job. All they care about is when your next order is coming in. They don't care who they sell too. We have had 1 company we have been going behind and cleaning up there mess, have told home owners to call Carrier and complain, but nothing ever happens.Do it right the first time.
