    5/8 to 3/4 tubing

    Just asking - My 25 year old Goodwin AC went out the other day and will need to be replaced - however the old unit had 5/8 tubing and the AC guy said it needs to be replaced with 3/4... is that true??? It's the upstairs unit and the lines go through 2 floors.

    yes if your guy says this is what is needed then you have your answer since we dont know brand or size.
