    Should I go with Gibson?

We are going to replace both heat pumps in the house, had a couple of estimates, One of the estimates was for two Gibson units. Never really heard of Gibson. Cant really find any info on their systems on their web site. I do like the fact they are simple units, but I am looking for some opinions.

Part of the Nordyne family, but more of a baseline/builder-type product. Doesn't mean they won't heat and cool just fine, but you may want to invest in a higher-tier unit for your house. Here are some specs on them: http://www.nordyne.com/Literature/834a.pdf

What are your other options, and what are the model numbers as listed on the quotes?

Plain jane units, nice looking. Work as good as anybody elses builder grade.
