M-Bus to LON gateway with care
Hi All,
i am from Germany and i am searching for an gateway M-Bus to Lon
the gateway must generate am XIF-file with static nvi because Rthe LON tool
is care from Honeywell.

oh i Think the I.lon 100 make ony "dynamically" nv - and that the problem with care . care only read static nvi

Can your system do Modbus? If so I did a quick search and found a M-bus to Modbus gateway made by a company called intesis.

Hi,
one of the new features of the iLON SmartServer is that it can "emulate" up to 10 LON devices of any type. You simply load a XIF file to the iLON and create "local" devices by referencing to a XIF file. In your case take a XIF file that satisfies your needs and is supported in Honeywell care. Using a typeTranslator you can map the M-Bus data points to your Lon devices. This feature is pretty powerful.
