    Pros -- what's my SEER?

    Hi,

I have an "older" Carrier Weathermaker/Performance series AC, Installed in the early 1990s. It's a 3.5 ton, as far as I can tell. Model numbers are:

    Outdoor: 38TRO42300
    Coils: CD5AXA042000AAAA

Any guesses as to SEER? I've tried looking on the web -- found some product but wasn't sure how to translate. Also, nothing that said SEER. So here I am...

    Thanks,
    Cub

    Should Be 38tra042.

    12 Seer Approx.

    Kevin,

I re-checked it -- there's no "a" in the model number. Does that make a difference?
