    What happens when that evap starts leaking? Cut more sheetrock out?

    Absolutely...! Stick that drywall blade in the sledgehammer and have at it. He obviously spares no expense, so he can have it patched.....

    Well at least now the coil can be accesssed.
    The customer is going to put some doors there for future servicing.
    now that we have had time to look into it :it seems whoever put that airhandler in 12 years ago didnt read the tag that said.
    For Horizontal application unit must be pitched for drainage.
    So the customer has been breathing stale water which layed in the pan till it rotted thru
    Seems the blower was tossing water into the ductwork too.
    Seems the teenage son was always sick Now they have a clue as to why
