Big Mess ot Lil Mess
Hi all,
Need some help in determining how big of a mess I ve gotten myself into. A year ago I had both of my 21 yr old Carrier Weathermakes serviced. AC Tech told me they would need replacing soon. I came across a 2 yr old 2.5Ton Trane system on a distressed house I was flipping. It wasnt running but I figured Id keep it for later and put something cheap in the rehab. Well the upstairs 2 Ton Carrier died and I have the following Trane components: Condensing
14Xli) 4TTX4030b1000AA, Furnace: (XL80)TUD080r936k5, Coil:TXC03c4HPC0.
Is this a complete matched system?
It was installed as a vertical-what parts do I need to convert it to horizontal?
Does it use R22 or the 4xx refrigerant?
Does it require a specific Trane drip pan?
How many labor hours should it take to replace my old system thats inthe attic?
Should I sell it all and start new?
Any idea what this system sold for 2 years ago?
Thx for any and all responses..

It was installed as a vertical- what parts do I need to convert it to horizontal? Check the installation manuals
Does it use R22 or the 4xx refrigerant? R-410A obviously
Does it require a specific Trane drip pan?
How many labor hours should it take to replace my old system thats in the attic? ~ 80 +/- 60
Should I sell it all and start new? Why wasn't it running?
Any idea what this system sold for 2 years ago
