    cond fan runs backwards

    I have a 2 ton goodman, Cond fans starts runs for a while , then starts running backwards . [ changed cap still run backwards ] seen this a few times with lighting strikes , seen no bad weather in a while. I will change motor tomorrow, any ideas?

    Is it a DC motor? If it is, check your field connections. Might be hooked up differentially compounded by mistake.
