I have had the VPD5 model vacuum pump for about 6 months, has worked perfect so far. I do keep the oil changed tho. I think main. on any of your equipment makes for longer life. JMO

I think crapsman doesn't belong on that list at ALL. Except for the fact that they THINK they can charge what snap on and SK charge now.
I've broken more crapsman tools than anything though. And now with their prices I won't even buy them. I do use their cordless tools alot though but they are actually competitively priced.
I used to think like that too until I got my cheap 3/4 inch drive china socket set. Used that thing for years and only one socket ever cracked. Now I buy alot at Harbor Freight. Not to mention we always lose tools in this job anyway.
I will believe that the government is broke when the welfare checks start bouncing!!
