    Do I need a humidifier?

I am replacing my 45-year-old furnace with a Rheem RGDF09EZCMS Prestige gas furnace along with a 16 seer air-conditioning unit. My local Rheem dealer came in was by far the best price with his top end product going for less than the middle end products of Trane, Lennox and Carrier.

I was thinking of installing a humidifier but I've recently read that since the furnace will not be drawing any air out of the house for combustion a humidifier may not be necessary. I live in New England near the ocean so it never gets desert dry but of course it does get fairly cold. Below zero was not uncommon. Does anyone have any thoughts or experiences with this?

You can have a humidifier installed later, if your house needs one.
    Try it without first

How many times must one fix something before it is fixed?
