    converting m4p's to mp3's ???

I have bought a lot of music on itunes for my ipod & they are a m4p file. Now that I have my new phone that holds music I was wanting to put some of this on but I have to convert it to a mp3 file. Anybody know how to do this?

    N.E. Ok.
If you are talking about m4p songs purchased from the iTunes music store, then the only legal way is to burn these songs to a audio CD (you can use a CD-RW disc), then rip that audio CD to mp3
    Google search quote
That seems to be the easiest and legal
But i'm far from a being knowlegable on the subject.
