Don't you have a 8320 on yours? Or are you using a WR.

been and bald, you guys are funny on this subject matter

personally i think in dual fuel mode (8000) the aux comes on if temp keeps dropping in dual fuel application!

at this point i may not beleive honeywell tech support

i got an 8000 running my 18seer with od stat i will test it myself after baldie tells us what honeywell says!

IAQ, but not set in DF mode. No outdoor sensor. My DF kit is a 90-340 relay and a toggle switch to keep gas off. Oh, and another one to lock out high fire since the dang furnace is oversized.

LOL... Too bad you don't know someone in the trade to get you a deal on a properly sized mod.

So you could just walk over and disable the lock out. Set the stat up 2 or so degrees above room temp and test it. But you won't.???

doesn the aux heat also come on when hp is in defrost? also i don't think you need od sensor, isn't their a setting where if the tstat sees the house temp. dropping while the comp. is running, it will switch over to fossil fuel? or did someone already say that
