Coleman Fan Mod/RCB
Found a new way to accommodate those pesky after market motor shafts. Only works if it's shaft up orientation though. Neat placement of run capacitor as well.

Oh god, that brings back some memories. I'll be lying if I said I've never done that before, but that was when I was but a mere boot in the early days of my career.
nagakatta yo mou sukoshi de atatakai hizashi abireru, honto wa gutto koraete'ta jibun ni dake wa makenai you ni, nagakatta yo mou sukoshi de atatakai hizashi abireru, hanarete sugoshiita jikan ga samishiku nakatta to ittara uso ni naru...
Not as lean, not as mean, but I'm still a hardcore, ass-kicking, hard charging Marine! Oohrah!

All that trouble to put the cap there, and did not clean out the leaves.

You're missing the hack's genius here. That's not a motor shaft, it's a PTO for add-on accessories, such as a mister pump to spray water onto the unit while it's running, or a rotating owl to scare away birds and rodents.
