Sis's King (how the mutt got his whizz up through the cabinet I'll never know) has a bigger hole than that. Purrs like a kitten still -- OK, got a Tecumseh recip so it roars like a lion, but cools great.

I was with an old guy that would stick sheet metal in the CU to stop air from bypassing the rest of the coil.
Beware of advice given by some guy on the Internet.

Well, I took the H/O out and showed her what was going on....she couldn't care less..."if it ain't broke, no need to fix it" I did however get her to put up a small fence around the unit. The unit is working fine, charge is still on the money so I figured since she's the customer I need to do what she asks....besides...by the look of it, I will be out there this summer sometime quoting for replacement of that coil or the entire unit.
