    I have had some pretty hairy events with cranes , but nothing like that. Windy days, unpredictable rain, bad crew, bad drivers. Nothing that bad. that was a loud crunch.
    If it was a bad rig, this is a good reason to stress a good check of rigging equipt., if it was bad rigging, need to look into lessons on rigging.
    Neather way, that should have not happened.
    What a bumber. Damn.
    Hardhat or not, if you were under there, you were as flat as the cond. coil.

    You know where i'm from, theres signs posted plain as day on all sides of the crane co.'s truck that reads: "Rigging is CUSTOMERS responsibility". And yes i have to rig all my own units....if they fall (which thank goodness none have) then theres no liability on the crane Co.

    Wonder who paid for that one?
