I am a DYI with a Carrier Edge Thermostat model TP-PAC and would like to install it on my new Carrier Performance series HVAC system. While I have installed a number of programmable thermostats purchased from Home Depot this is a bit more advanced and was hoping someone can walk me through the install. While I would love to have an HVAC expert install it, however, at an average install rate of $250, I am certain I can install it with a bit of assistance.

The Edge unit I have has both a Display Module and a Equipment Control Module and it is 1) The ECM that I am having difficulty understand how it needs to be installed and 2) I am not certain what color wires to connect to the Display Module. The color wires I have available are RED, BLUE, GREEN, YELLOW, WHITE.

Can anyone can assist in simplifying this installation?
