When I started out in the trade, I used to work with a guy who drank vodka all day long. In the morning, it would be vodka and orange juice; in the afternoon, it would be vodka and tomatoe juice.

He said he drank vodka because it didn't give off any alcohol odor from the breath. I think he was seriously "blacked out". To me, he always smelled like a rolling distillery. But he did good work and the customers seemed to like him. Maybe it was because he was so relaxed?

I go with the "clink theory"........fill the galss with ice, pour your favorite vodka or other over the ice until the ice melts a bit, it will drop in the glass making a "Clink" sound. Then add your favorite mixer. Makes a good drink every time, unless you are a lightweight.

Vodka is a professional drink...........not to be consumed by amateurs.

    vodka

We wont say how many years ago it was, but when I was not a teenager our family dentist was perfect and he drank about 2 fifths a day. I dont know how much after work. If he didn't smell like a distillery you left and made another appointment. I still have fillings he put in. That's more than I can say for all after him and they were sober as far as I know. He was the exception. 99.9999% of people cant do their best after one much less several drinks. But then again I still haven't figured out the logic behind the drunk driver. 50% of accidents involve alcohol and about 50% of drivers drink. It basically says drunk or teetotler we do about the same damage and can't drive worth a crap. Not that that is any comfort. Now we have cell phones. It now appears that the teetotlers and cell phone users are going to beat the drunks at road kill. Or maybe it was like my grandpa said, "figures don't lie but liars figure". Fris it I hear Jose calling. Fire up the Kettle One and put on a Gray Goose. The Skye is the Absolute limit. I am Smirnoffing. Its late and I are Gordons to bed.
