I would make the guy who did that go fix it on his own time. He was already paid to install the unit correctly once. If that approach is taken then guys won't do that.
If you didn't do it right the first time it probably makes sense that your here asking the right way to do it now

Well, the moving of the unit got postponed until this Monday because it has rained buckets for the past few days, and I am not going to do it. My service manager thankfully is going to make the installer go back and fix his work.
Not as lean, not as mean, but I'm still a hardcore, ass-kicking, hard charging Marine! Oohrah!

After they move a few they'll start giving thought to what they are doing. Good call by the boss.
