Rotation is once every 10-12 weeks, we get an additional 9 hours on the check for keeping the phone on all week, OT from 3:30 pm to 7:00 am, and DT on Sundays.

Last place I worked on call was 1 week long, $100 stipend, time and , door to door, and rotation was approximately every 3 months

This place is the same except $85 stipend, and rotation is every 2 months.

As SM, I am on-call 24/7. I screen all after hours calls before passing to technician. I left the house last night to deliver an A/C 2.5 hours from the house.

    No additional compensation.

Just the joy of doing my job.

Perhaps you should have read the instructions before calling.

Well said jr I might complain about pay sometimes but I stay with it because I
love what I do.Theirs nothing like a quiet motor room and a angry store manger
when the I\C cases have been down for hr's. I know I'am sick in the head.
I love the smell of phosgene first thing in the morning:

Oh wait, I did get some extra compensation...

I got to stay in a dumpy hotel that didn't look so bad on the outside.

Good thing the misses wasn't with me. It would've been ugly.
Perhaps you should have read the instructions before calling.
