I can not describe this,I am going to let everyone attempt to describe this install. No A/C was the complant to the landlord. This is what I saw when I got there:

I also see the roof over the unit, intresting.

I start checking the system out and I am having to squezz in this space.

As I am troubleshooting this unit I am looking at the gas line and how it is ran with alot extra fittings and how it was hung.

So the unit blower has high amps so I know this is rental property so I go to look at the filter on the side of the unit.

And the blower thank me when I took this out.Lol

As I was finishing up the call,I took notice that the installers did not even get a correct size pad for the unit to sit on.

looks real good
i bet those coils look real clean . poly filters suk i think a installer should ride with a tech and see the mistakes made . i am both a service tech / installer as i work for a small shop . i like, think about would i like to service this.and try to make my job easy on both ends as i will probably have to work on it in the future. and renters don't change filters untill you show up if then. also the gas piping would not have passed inspection in Washington state
they would laugh and ask me to pee in this cup

Roof looks too high to cause high head. High amp draw from fan motor is not caused by plugged filter. Would be low amp draw. Other than that, looks to be a classic hacker install
